Thanks for all your help!

Our business plan was researched and written entirely by those who support our vision for a new life for Derbyshire Eco Centre. Everyone gave their time for free. We clocked up £30,000 worth of volunteer effort, and more still since we submitted it to DCC. Thanks to you all for bringing together our many ideas into a credible plan.

Organisations across Derbyshire and beyond gave us advice and wrote letters of support. Thanks for seeing the value in what we are doing.  We look forward to working with you as we turn our vision into reality.

We would like to thank everyone that supported our Christmas fundraising campaign ‘A New Life for Derbyshire Eco Centre’ with help and donations. We raised a massive £27,500 through the crowdfunding campaign, offline donations, purchases through Skopa Zero Waste shop, the Auction of Promises (thanks to the Feather Star for this) and with support from Wirksworth Markets, The Studio jewellery sales and not forgetting Owen’s Christmas trees.  To all of the individuals who donated large amounts and small, together you’ve really shown the value of the Eco Centre to the community.

A massive thank you to everyone who has volunteered with us, to get the CIC this far. We still have a way to go, but we have a great team of Directors, advisors, Friends, garden volunteers, and many people working behind the scenes. Together we’ll make sure the Eco Centre thrives and grows.
